Tip #48: Your Kindle homepage - those dots....

On your Kindle homepage or collections (for e-ink Kindles), titles have a row of dotted lines beneath them. What do they mean?

i) the row of small dots represents the book length
On my screenshot, Boy's Life is the longest book, Odd Hours is the shortest.

ii) the thicker dots show how much you have read
On the screenshot (click to enlarge), Odd Horse is a few chapters in. Pandemonium is complete, Boy's Life a page in, and Savving for Retirement approx 85% read.

[Note, on this screenshot, you also see dot dot dot alongside the first title. This shows the name of the book is longer than will fit. If you scroll down to it and wait, the full title shows]
